**About the role | He korero whakamarama mo tenei turanga**

The purpose of the Recovery Facilitator (RF) is to empower and mentor tangata whaiora to achieve their goals and aspirations by taking a holistic, strengths-based approach to develop a collaborative and respectful relationship. Recovery Facilitator manage a caseload of people and work in partnership to support, encourage and facilitate improvement of their health and wellbeing so they can thrive..

Our Recovery Facilitators work with DHB clinical teams, primary care, community housing and support services, drug and alcohol services, Māori health providers, and other community providers to provide person and whānau centric services. These teams work with people living in the community in relation to family and whānau, community living, education, employment, and self-management of their wellbeing. This includes engagement with their local community, supporting work opportunities, education, and social activities, as well as finding and maintaining a home.

This is a full time role with 40 hours available Monday - Friday. Hours will be between 8:30am-5:00pm.

**What you will bring | Nga tohungatanga mo tenei turanga**
- National Certificate in Mental Health Support Work (level 4) or equivalent (or willingness to undertake within one year of employment)
- Some experience working with people with mental health and addictions issues
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously
- Attention to detail with excellent documentation skills
- Ability to keep clear boundaries
- Full NZ drivers' licence and clean Police check
- Fully vaccinated including booster against COVID-19
