Hotel Waterloo and Backpackers is seeking an enthusiastic, career driven individual to lead their Housekeeping Department

Hotel Waterloo and Backpackers is located in one of the most central locations in Wellington, right across the road from the train station, near the busses as well as the ferry terminals. It is a busy property as we offer a variety of bedding configurations depending on the needs of the guest. We are a small but passionate team, who work hard, together

**What we need from you**:

- Previous experience in Housekeeping or equivalent in a staff management role
- Experience within a Hotel or in the Accommodation/Hospitality Industry would be a plus
- An eye for detail and high standard of cleanliness
- A bubbly personality with a drive to exceed standards
- A certificate in Hospitality Management, Tourism or similar would be advantageous

Your daily tasks will include performing cleanliness standards checks, coordinating and supervising staff, training staff and managing inter-departmental communication. You will place orders and manage inventory for both properties.
