**Senior Advisor, Employment Relations (People Experience team)**

**He pūkenga tou/Skills and Experience**

You will be supported in this role by an experienced Employment Relations and Remuneration team.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Demonstrated commitment to and respect for Te Tiriti o Waitangi as it applies in the public sector and the ability to incorporate this into your work**.**:

- An understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural issues and concerns, in particular, knowledge of tikanga Māori.
- An excellent knowledge and understanding of current employment relations and human resource practice and relevant employment legislation and case law in Aotearoa.
- Proven ability in providing advice and support on complex ER issues, including disciplinary action, change management, and performance management.
- Experience leading and managing projects and delivering on deadlines.
- Experience with conflict resolution, influencing, negotiating, including mediation, settlements, etc.
- Experience of collective bargaining and implementing the outcomes.
- Strong written and comprehension abilities.
- A background in a large, complex, unionised organisation is advantageous.

**Utu ā-tau/**Salary**

Salary Range: The appointing salary for this role will be between $94,377 and $131,591 based on your skills and experience.
