Use your experience in Assurance Mapping to work with Tier 2 leadership across a diverse organisation that is dedicated to helping our communities.Mō tēnei tūranga - About the role: Reporting to the National Manager Assurance and Risk, the Principal Advisor Assurance is responsible for leading our assurance planning and delivery processes. This role includes coordination of co-source internal audit suppliers. You will lift into liaising with tier 2s around assurance advice and set an assurance strategy. You will be a key player in building an assurance map for the wider organisation.We've developed a clearly articulated career pathway within our assurance function so there are plenty of ways to progress your career across different disciplines within the team. Ko tāu nā i tēnei tūranga - What you'll bring to the role: Bring your experience in providing high quality internal audits. You will have a background in assurance or risk management, as well as a practical mindset. Your excellent analytical ability and experience in assurance mapping will be key to this position deliver audits. Understanding the machinery of government or working within the emergency sector would be a huge advantage.To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will:
- Demonstrated ability to provide high quality internal audits
- Strong experience working in an assurance or risk environment
- CA or Internal AA qualification
- Excellent relationship management skills and experience working with Tier 2 Stakeholders
- Strong communication along with report writing skills

The salary range for this role is $148,798 - $165,332 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.Ko wai mātou - Who are we?
