We are looking for a fast-learning casual team member with a can-do attitude. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, helping with bookings and ticketing. You will be part of an enthusiastic and supportive team providing a knowledgeable and effective service to visitors, often being the first point of contact for travellers in the Wellington region.

**About the role**
You will be committed to delivering a friendly and informative welcome to locals and all visitors. Your tasks will support the daily operation of the Wellington i-SITE information Centre and will include:

- Making bookings on behalf of visitors, ticket sales and cash handling.
- Providing accurate information and advice to visitors.
- Keeping databases up to date with accurate information.
- Ensuring the i-SITE is presented in a clean and professional way.
- Helping to ensure visitors have the best experience during their stay in Wellington

**About you**
We are looking for someone with the flexibility to work on an as required basis to support staff absences and busy periods. You will have a positive attitude and be knowledgeable about the Wellington region. You will have:

- Experience in a customer service environment, experience with booking and ticketing systems is a bonus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to and meet the needs of our customers from a wide range of backgrounds, ages and cultures
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence handling cash and operating POS systems.
- Loads of knowledge about all the things Wellington has to offer
