Mō te tūnga | About the role

Working within the Evidence Based Policing Centre (EBPC) the role of Administration Officer includes providing administrative assistance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations of the centre.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Office administration
- Manage procurement of stationary, kitchen supplies, IT equipment and uniforms
- Manage invoices and purchase orders
- Travel bookings
- Processing new and existing staff, including contractors
- Manage floor access
- Manage meeting room bookings and ensure meeting room IT is functional.
- Maintain accurate records and files.
- Prepare reports and other documents as needed.
- Event planning and co-ordination of EBPC events both internal and external e.g., Christmas event, all of centre days etc.
- Handle special projects and assignments as needed.

Yow will be an agile operator who can work efficiently and reactively to respond to changes in our operating environment; enjoy communicating in all formats and have an interest in supporting the EBPC achieve its goals.

- Successful applicant must reside in Wellington
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo a full reference and security check prior to any offer of employment being made

Utu ā-tau | Salary

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $57,083 - $66,018 dependant on skills and experience relevant to the role.
