**About The Role**:
We currently have an opportunity for an Architectural Consultant, based in our Auckland office. Reporting to the Architectural & DAS Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing market presence and increasing ASSA ABLOY's share of the specification market to deliver increase sales. You will work with Sales Teams, Specification Writers, Customer Service Teams, and other teams to manage day-to-day relationships as well as drive new business.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Working with architects, designers, and builders to grow awareness of ASSA ABLOY products and our share of the commercial hardware market.
- Collecting market intelligence to undertake a strategic analysis of opportunities to target all areas of influence and establish relationships with key influencers at all stages of the sales cycle.
- Increasing awareness of the ASSA ABLOY brand and products through attendance at industry functions, events, and networking opportunities as relevant and appropriate.
- Support Merchant engagement when needed to support the Specification and Schedule growth and adherence.
- Presenting and Supporting CPD and CTP training across all verticals and customer groups.
- Using AANZ CRM software to record visits, calls and opportunities.
- Offer creative solutions that align with both aesthetic aspirations and practical considerations.
- Stay updated with industry trends, codes, regulations, and emerging technologies.

**About you**:

- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of the architectural, door and hardware industry.
- Strong negotiating skills and the ability to build effective supplier relationships.
- Customer focused and committed to providing a high quality of service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and active listening skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
