We have two newly established roles within the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) GCSB, housed within the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).

The Office of the CISO GCSB is accountable for delivering the information security (INFOSEC) strategy and programme across the GCSB and NZSIS Enterprise. We ensure that INFOSEC activities are designed and coordinated across both agencies and in line with our INFOSEC principles.

These roles are a significant addition to the CISO GCSB team and a unique opportunity for you to make a real difference to our Enterprise security. These roles offer broad responsibility, significant autonomy, and a high degree of engagement with technology practitioners and senior stakeholders. You will lead the development of INFOSEC frameworks and processes that will determine the future INFOSEC approach of our agencies.

Enterprise INFOSEC Assurance Manager

About this role

In this role, you will lead the INFOSEC assurance process on behalf of CISOs GCSB and NZSIS. You will work closely with technical and security specialists from across both agencies to ensure that IT systems relied on to deliver our agencies' missions meet our INFOSEC requirements.

**You will be accountable for**:

- Leading the development, implementation and continuous improvement of an Enterprise INFOSEC assurance framework that is fully embedded in our business processes.
- Ensuring the day-to-day delivery of INFOSEC assurance activities that are appropriately prioritised, coordinated and to an agreed standard.
- Building and maintaining trust-based relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective business engagement with the assurance process.

- Be a credible practitioner in INFOSEC assurance or risk management, or a related discipline.
- Be able to work collaboratively and co-ordinate effectively with other teams.
- Be supportive and authentic in your approach to others.
- Have a continuous improvement mind-set.

Senior Enterprise INFOSEC Advisor

About this role

In this role, you will ensure that our Enterprise INFOSEC policy drives an industry-leading approach that enables GCSB and NZSIS' missions. You will lead work across both agencies to develop, maintain and embed an Enterprise INFOSEC policy framework. This framework will be well-integrated with wider Enterprise policy and business processes, and our strategic and regulatory landscape to ensure its effective implementation.

**You will be accountable for**:

- Leading the development and delivery of an effective INFOSEC policy framework for the Enterprise
- Ensuring INFOSEC policy outputs and deliverables are clear, comprehensive, and aligned with the NZIC INFOSEC Strategy
- Engaging with key stakeholders to ensure INFOSEC policy advice can be practically implemented by the business and is consistent with the agencies' other legal and policy requirements.

**And you will**:

- Have practical experience in information security or a related discipline.
- Be highly collaborative and able to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Be willing to tackle difficult policy problems and develop solutions that are both pragmatic and innovative.
- Have excellent written communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to plain English.
