Regional Training Manager

Provide oversight of training activities in your region to ensure voters receive a seamless and successful voting experience.
Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | about the role
You will support the Regional Manager and Regional Advisors by providing an oversight of all training activity across the region and assisting with the delivery of that training to Electorate Managers, Recruitment & Rostering Managers and/ or Logistic and Supplies Managers as well as delivering the training component at regional meetings.
Working with the National Office training team to provide feedback on and refine the training resources.
You will assist with the selection of Area Trainers, and the development of their training schedules. You will also assess Area Trainers while they conduct their training sessions to ensure training standards are met. You will also prepare the post - election training schedule and the delivery of Post Election training with assistance from the Regional Advisor where appropriate.
Some travel around the region and to National Office in Wellington will be required.

You will be a customer focussed team player who is able to learn on the fly. You are a result focussed individual with sound planning and organisational skills who can demonstrate previous experience:

- delivering training to a broad audience
- delivering training with a disciplined and systematic approach within a specified timeframe
- with audio-visual equipment and mobile phones

**You will be able to**:

- work independently as well as part of a team
- demonstrate your excellent communication skills as well as your ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- demonstrate initiative combined with sound judgement as well as an awareness and sensitivity to different cultural needs
- demonstrate knowledge/awareness of te reo, proper pronunciation and tikanga
- previous election experience is desirable and your own transport and a full clean driver's licence is a must.
