Our Christchurch office has grown organically over the past 12 months, and now houses a team of experts across multiple sectors, who enjoy getting together to share success in delivering awesome projects such as Te Kaha Stadium, Lake Onslow Pumped Hydro Scheme, Lakeview Taumata and KIwiRail’s Waltham and Hillside Mechanical Facilities.
- Mott MacDonald Aotearoa is growing, and with that growth comes an exciting opportunity in the South Island. Our transport team delivers projects across New Zealand, and as such we are looking to expand our offering in Christchurch with key clients in the rail and highways sector.
- This role represents a great opportunity for a person with initial experience in their civil engineering career to move into the rail sector in NZ, which is growing. Our Rail team has members in Christchurch, Wellington, and Auckland, and are currently working on a range of engagements across the country.**What you will do**:
As a key member of our, you will work closely with our Rail lead in Christchurch, and the role would see you actively engaged in field activities, providing construction assurance, reporting to the client, preparing concept and draft rail and civil engineering designs, producing technical and commercial specifications, drawings, and schedules on a range of projects.
- With support from the team, you also work in close partnership with the client and contractors through design phases and into construction monitoring for rail assets across NZ.
