Senior Civil Engineer Opportunity in Christchurch

A leading multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm based in Christchurch is seeking a talented Senior Civil Engineer to join their collaborative team.

This pivotal role offers a diverse project portfolio spanning land development, local government infrastructure, and commercial works. As an experienced engineer, you will have the opportunity to take your career to new heights by providing technical leadership and mentoring junior staff in design, documentation, and engineering solutions.

You will leverage your local knowledge across commercial, residential, and infrastructure developments, upskilling and guiding others in 3D modelling using Civil 3D or 12D Model for roading, drainage, etc. Conducting technical calculations for design and managing projects to deliver high-quality outputs for clients are also key aspects of this role.

To be successful, you will need a New Zealand recognised Civil Engineering degree (BEng Tech or BE Civil) and at least 8 years' civil engineering experience, with CPEng credentials. Expertise in civil design, 3D modelling, drainage, and roading is essential. Proven ability to manage projects, mentor others, and communicate effectively with strong integrity and outcomes focus is also required.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $135,000 and $155,000 per annum, depending on experience.
