**Job Summary**: As a Community Mental Health Nurse, you will be vital in providing comprehensive, compassionate, and patient-centered mental health care to individuals in our client's community. You will work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to support and advocate for the mental well-being of our clients. This rewarding and dynamic position allows you to impact the lives of those in need positively.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop individualised care plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and evidence-based treatments to clients.
- Offer support, education, and counselling to clients and their families.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Promote mental health awareness and destigmatize mental health issues in the community.
- Participate in crisis intervention and ensure client safety.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of client interactions and treatment plans.

**Professional Requirements**:

- Registered Nurse with a valid practising certificate in New Zealand.
- A passion for mental health and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of New Zealand's mental health legislation and policies.
- Knowledge of evidence-based mental health interventions and treatments.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
- A complete, clean driver's license
