**PRODUCTION PLANNING COORDINATOR**

Based at Pacific Stones production factory in Judea, Tauranga the Production Planning Coordinator will assist the Production Manager in optimising the planning and scheduling processes, maximising resource efficiencies, and looking after the purchasing and documentation control process.

The **Production Planning Coordinator** position is driven by Pacific Stone’s continued growth and busy production schedule, along with the need to optimize the links between Sales, Production, Office and Accounts, Clients, Installers, and Suppliers.

Pacific Stone is a leading supplier and fabricator of quality handcrafted surfaces, all made to order from stunning natural and engineered Stone and Porcelain products. They measure, fabricate, and install beautiful granite, marble, stone, engineered stone, and porcelain for kitchens, bathrooms, fire hearths, reception counters, and a host of commercial spaces.

You will be a key communication link between the teams, a confident user of Microsoft Office Suite, and a whizz with Excel spreadsheets and production planning software.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Develop planning & scheduling tools and processes
- Using schedule templating resources to process production orders and installation
- Reconcile job card detail and prepare for factory release
- Support material ordering
- Process inventory transactions and balance stock monthly
- Highlight potential issues and problem solve for best possible solutions
- Liaising with clients and assisting with communicating any production delays and resolving any problems.
**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Relevant experience in a similar production, planning, and scheduling position within a trades/manufacturing/fabrication and install type business.
- High level of administration skills and experience with production planning programmes such as Moraware and Excel.
- The ability to think critically and conceptually.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- A high standard of written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- High attention to detail and accuracy is critical, as is an organised approach to your work and the ability to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
