'Aronui Ora' means to keep wellness in the forefront of your thinking and intent. Aronui Ora is a specialist adult mental health service, providing antenatal (before birth) and post-natal (after birth) mental health care during pregnancy and early parenthood (first 12 months of an infant’s life).

Aronui Ora is a multi-disciplinary team made up of mental health professionals from psychiatry, psychology, social work, psychotherapy, occupational therapy and nursing.

The clinicians have specialist knowledge in the area of infant care and attachment (promoting a secure parent and infant relationship) and provide antenatal (before birth) and postnatal (after birth) support in community, clinic and hospital settings.

As a member of this professional, dedicated Service, you’ll work alongside your colleagues who have a strong emphasis on flexibility, teamwork, collaboration and on-going professional development.

You will bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong commitment to a multi-disciplinary team approach. You will demonstrate experience working alongside tāngata whai i te ora in a clinical mental health setting. Experience working in maternal mental health would be an advantage.

In this role, you will work in partnership with the Clinical Team Leader and Leadership Team to provide high quality evidence-based clinical services to our service users. The role has a place in the Leadership Team; you will influence decision making, represent the organisation professionally, and support a strong sense of team morale by demonstrating Te Toka Tumai’s values.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**

You will be an experienced, Psychiatrist, Mental Health Nurse or Allied Health professional with advanced clinical skills and have a recovery focus with the ability to work collaboratively with our service users and their families. You will join an established supportive team of psychiatrists, nurses, allied health and clerical staff.

A full and clean NZ driver licence is essential in this community-based role.
