We invite you to join the Kari Centre, an exciting and dynamic Child and Adolescent Mental Health outpatient service that provides assessment and therapy to children, young people, and their families within the central Auckland area.
The Kari Centre has a strong reputation for excellence, innovation, and training, and is dedicated to offering opportunities for career development. We offer internal and external training packages, including formal post-graduate training, for new staff skill development as well as support for experienced clinicians who wish to build on their existing skills.
We are seeking a Clinician Team Member
- DBT to join the Kari Centre. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive Dialectical Behaviour Therapy services to young people and their whanau. Kari Centre has one of the longest standing DBT consult teams in the country who are fully adherent to the DBT model.
This role will also involve phone coaching (rostered 24/7 phone service) and participating in the multi-disciplinary and DBT consult meetings.
Although you are being recruited into the DBT team, there may be times when you are requirement to provide support in other parts of the service.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced registered Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse, Psychotherapists or Psychologist with a current NZ Registration and practicing certificate.
It is desirable for you to have completed accredited training in DBT and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing adherent DBT.
As this is a community role, a full and clean driver’s licence is required.
