**Job Title**: Civil Supervisor

**Location**: New Zealand, Christchurch

**Pay Rate**: $80-110k NZ

**The Company**
The company is one of the few established players within NZ Civil Engineering & Construction Industry. Due to the construction works happening in and around the Wellington Area they are looking at a year ahead with an unprecedented order book of work in hand and to add to that they are about to be awarded further projects. They expect this level of activity to be sustained and even increase over the next 3-5 years.

**Main Duties**
As a Civil Supervisor you will be managing your own section of works and be part of a dedicated team and will report into the Project Manager. You will be responsible for managing various sub-contractors, keeping accurate records of production, managing and maintaining quality of the works, managing and controlling H&S elements at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Be trade qualified or time served with 5 years + experience in a similar position working within the construction and engineering industry.
- Previous work history with a top or established mid tier NZ Engineering Construction company
- A good understanding and demonstrative experience of standard civil engineering practices and techniques, including supervision of construction works, including roads, RC structures (insitu/precast), earth works, piling and foundation works, utilities and services reinstatement.
- Have the ability and experience to run direct and sub-contract labour teams
- Be practical minded and work with hands-on approach coupled with excellent communication and people skills
- A solutions-orientated attitude with a desire to progress in your career.

**Benefits**
A package which is in line with the technical nature of the project which includes Salary of between $80-110k inclusive of package.
