The Auckland Plan 2050 sets out a 30-year direction for Auckland that will ensure we can meet the opportunities and challenges of the future. We are looking for a Strategic Advisor who will work across the Auckland Council Group to monitor progress of the outcomes of the Auckland Plan. The six outcomes of the Plan are Belonging and Participation, Māori Identity and Wellbeing, Homes and Places, Transport and Access, Environment and Cultural Heritage and Opportunity and Prosperity.

You are looking for that next step to hone your problem solving and strategic skills. You are a deep thinker with the intellectual curiosity that thrives on challenges.

Other skills, attributes and experience that will enable you to be successful in this role are as follows:

- highly organised with the strong ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines

- an appreciation of local government’s political context

**Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou: What we offer**

This is your opportunity to help shape Auckland's future by ensuring that the Auckland Plan 2050 remains at the forefront of council's strategic thinking and decisions. You will expand your network with a wide range of stakeholders across a broad portfolio of work. This bodes well for your future career
