Enterprise Services is responsible for the maximising the value of IR's transformed environment for our people, partners and customers through the central services we deliver (Technology, Finance, HR, Knowledge Management, Commercial and Communications).
The opportunity to join our Enterprise Services team as Head of Portfolio and Delivery Management (Service Leader - Planning, Design & Delivery) presents both an interesting and challenging proposition to play your part in making Aotearoa New Zealand a better place to live and work.
Mō te tūnga - About the role

**In this role you will be responsible for leading a team that**:

- delivers and embeds all changes to IR's HR, Finance, Payroll, Contract Management and Procure-to-Pay services - these are provided through Oracle and SAP solutions
- manages the delivery of core technology changes to IR's underpinning supporting technology services - these are provided through a broad range of technologies and service providers
- provides change management support to all Enterprise Services teams.

This is an opportunity to explore the role and operating model of the team two years into our new ways of working. The Enterprise Services Leadership team is also keen for this team to broaden its responsibilities into Enterprise Services portfolio planning, reporting and prioritisation support.

**To be successful in this position you will have**:

- the ability to lead the development of the team's culture, skills and ways of working
- strong strategic thinking ability, along with proven experience solving complex issues
- strong portfolio management experience across multiple business groups including Finance, Commercial, Technology, Knowledge Management, HR and Communications
- proven experience maintaining a broad business roadmap, facilitating business prioritisation calls, and managing portfolio level risks
- ability to safely deliver both business and technology led initiatives in a complex multi-stakeholder environment
- extensive experience driving iterative change through an agile release-based delivery model
- track record of effectively embedding process and system change into business teams through strong change management practices
- depth of experience in third-party engagement and management
- high level of relationship development, management and facilitation skills - including the ability to establish key strategic relationships with executive level stakeholders
- demonstrated support for Inland Revenue's response to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a commitment to building and supporting cultural capability.
