**Position Summary**:
Working across the NZ commercial business, you will partner with the ANZ Logistics and transportation teams to ensure we meet customer experience, revenue, inventory control and accuracy and efficiency targets; whilst also driving continuous improvement using our PPI management system.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- You will own the process for the LSG** **Inbound and Outbound shipment processing **working with the ANZ Logistics and Transportation teams to ensure on time Shipment receipts into the ERP systems ( E1 / SAP ) and ontime Pick, Pack and ship of all domestic outbound orders to our New Zealand customers.
- At the core of what you do you will ensure the customer’s needs are met by ensuring your direct reports and resources are managed efficiently on a daily basis. Inbound shipments are chased up with our Freight Forwarders for on Time delivery to our Penrose Warehouse. All Domestic outbound customer orders are picked and packed accurately as per shipping and storage requirements.
- Given the nature of some of our products and the complexity of our portfolio being vigilant in all areas of compliance will be very important with special focus on BACC regulated shipments, and IATA dangerous goods shipments.
- You will work with freight forwarders to ensure they are helping us be outstanding every day - in service, and on time delivery of all Inbound shipments.
- PPI as a management system is fundamental to Thermo Fisher Scientific, standard work, and other tools to drive a strong culture, right first time execution and a high level of efficiency
- As part of the wider Thermo Fisher Scientific New Zealand team, you will also form links with other New Zealand based supply chain professionals domestically to collaborate, and to help the needs of the NZ Distribution space.

**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications**:

- Education_
- 5 + years of relevant professional / industrial experience leading Distribution teams, ideally in a small to medium Commercial Operations Warehouse model and particularly in:

- Supervision of teams
- Inventory control
- JDE E1 / SAP D50 Experience preferred but not critical ( Training will be provided as needed )
- Minimum 12 months managerial / supervisory experience, including shown critical thinking, influencing skills, team management.

- JDE E1 / SAP knowledge.
- Resourcefulness to critically assess what we have and improve upon it
- Good written and oral communication
- Medium+ skills in WORD, EXCEL, Outlook
