**Job Description** About the Role**

The primary purpose of the Warehouse Supervisor role is to provide leadership in the development and execution of stock distribution and receiving systems, aligning with PPNZ and Stowers' lean manufacturing goals. This entails overseeing warehousing, inwards and outwards goods operations, managing product distribution to customers, and facilitating inter-site movements.

Additionally, the role involves leading team development and process enhancement initiatives, ensuring cost control and operational efficiency, managing key relationships, and conducting regular stocktakes to maintain inventory accuracy.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Efficient and effective leadership of warehousing, inwards and outwards goods operations.
- Ensure appropriate planning is carried out for staffing requirements, carriers, storage and vendor’s stock.
- Mentor, coach and develop multiskilled cross-functional team in day-to-day tasks.
- Work with Warehouse & Distribution Manager to identify and implement improvement activities within the warehouse.
- Monitor and control expenses within budgets.
- Maintain close contact with key suppliers to ensure their service requirements are met.
- Compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Adherence to quality management systems and procedures.
- Prompt and clear communication with internal departments and external customers to address any issues or challenges effectively.
- Support for companywide initiatives aimed at improving service levels and overall performance.

- Forklift License (Reach and Counter Balance)
- Understanding of Health &Safety regulations
- Awareness of AS/NZ ISO 9000 standard requirements
- Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills

- Positive attitude
- Takes initiative and adapts to change quickly
