**Your new role**

Your role will involve providing planning and resource management advice and collaborating with other disciplines. You will get to work on resource consents, subdivision design, assessment of environmental effects, cultural engagement, plan changes, strategic and spatial planning.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- 2 - 5 years' experience in planning profession
- Local knowledge of the planning and development issues facing the Waikato
- A positive attitude with good personal skills
- A Tertiary qualification in Resource and Environmental Planning, or a directly related discipline
- A proven track record of managing a workload successfully
