**About the role**:
We're looking for a Marketing Advisor to join our busy Communications and Engagement Unit. Working alongside business groups from across the organisation and externally, this busy and varied role takes responsibility for:

- Keeping residents and key stakeholders informed and engaged on Council's activities, services and decision making
- Developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to reach and communicate with Christchurch's diverse communities
- Manage different marketing channels and communications such as web content and social media
- Monitor and report on marketing outcomes

**Our ideal applicant will**:

- Be a tertiary qualified professional with several years of marketing experience
- Have well-established and proven marketing skills - particularly in digital marketing
- Be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines, in a complex environment
- Be a strong communicator who is able to present effectively, with a talent for relationship building

**_ Location: Primarily based at Te Hononga Civic Offices, 53 Hereford Street_**
