**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
Reporting to the Nurse Director, you are key in ensuring efficient and effective operational management of the nursing services in child health. You’ll lead, manage and inspire your people, review and enhance systems, processes and resources that facilitate efficient and effective service delivery and ensure we have the structure and supports in place to achieve our nursing priorities and key quality projects. You will contribute to the development of the strategic direction for our service as well as overseeing nursing governance and compliance.

**Mōu | About you**
Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:
- Experience reviewing / analysing financial, asset, staff and production data, and taking appropriate actions and the ability to monitor delegated activities.
- A postgraduate qualification, registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current practicing certificate.
- The ability to assess and make effective decisions under pressure in complex situations and use own judgement to problem solve.
- Success in this role will hinge on your proven experience (5 years or more) in an operational leadership role within a complex health environment and experience leading unit-level process change and innovation.
