Geo Electrics Limited in Auckland is currently recruiting for the role of an Electrical Engineering Technician.

The pay-rate for this role is $30.00 -$35.00 per hour.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Prepare drawings and plans of electrical installations and circuitry.
- Assist in the design and layout of installations and circuits.
- Understand and follow electrical layouts and diagrams
- install, repair, test, and maintenance of electrical systems, installations, control systems and circuits.
- Keep track on diagrams and data of all the customers.
- report findings and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and solve electrical faults
- Plan and prepare materials needed for new projects
- estimate the cost of equipment needed for new work projects
- Assess the electrical system of to ensure safety and design standards are met as per requisite standard
- Help plan and design electrical installations and control circuits as per best practices
- Explore, research and study new ways and methodologies to solve elecctrical problems and faults
- Inspect designs and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Ensure all installations conform to industry standards, best practice and safety requirements.
- Design, plain, maintain and build electrical control systems.
- Wiring of control panels, motors, hydraulic valves, sensors etc. in our workshopand on site.
- Fault-finding, maintenance and commissioning of industrial electrical equipment.
- Assist with technical enquiries.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 45 per week
