**The opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join and contribute to the success of our newly formed transportation team. This is a full-time, permanent position where you'll take charge of coordinating and supporting roading contracts. This role is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in our transportation renewals and improvements programme.

**To set you up for success, you'll have**
- Exceptional experience in project management, including contract administration, financial management, and programming.
- Experience in professional service contracts and development and procurement of physical works contracts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering consultants, contractors, NZTA, and other road controlling authorities.
- 10+ years experience in a similar role.
- Degree / or Diploma (level 6) in Engineering.
- Can do positive attitude.
