**The opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Asset Engineer to contribute to the success of our newly formed transportation team. This is a full-time, permanent position where you will contribute to the development and implementation of asset management plans, strategies, policies, and systems to enable robust decision-making.

**To set you up for success, you'll have**
- Knowledge of asset management principles, practices, and technologies, including experience in road infrastructure design.
- Experience in asset lifecycle management, including planning, acquisition, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
- Experience in developing and implementing asset management strategies to optimise performance, minimise costs, and extend asset lifecycles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work with engineering consultants and contractors.
- 5+ years experience in a similar role.
- Degree / or Diploma in Engineering.
- Can do positive attitude.
