Te Puni Kōkiri is the government's principal policy advisor on Māori wellbeing and development. We achieve strategic influence with a focus on providing high quality policy advice and holding other agencies to account for delivering public services to, for and with Māori. This includes our mandate to promote Māori achievement in education, training, health and economic resource development along with performing our monitoring and mentoring roles. We have several key leadership opportunities available in our Data, Insights and Monitoring directorate.

**Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity**

Reporting to the General Manager, Data Insights and Monitoring, the Manager, Data and Analytics is critical to ensuring the strategic positioning and role that data and analytics plays in supporting Te Puni Kōkiri to become a data driven and informed organisation. It is also a critical enabler of our role as system monitors.
- The Manager, Data and Analytics will use their expertise to:

- Lead a high performing team and support them on best practice, implementation and opportunities as they present themselves.
- Embed our new Azure data platform as a central repository for high quality, trusted data to support evidence informed decision making
- Lead the creation and implementation of data practices appropriate to our data landscape and long-term analytics vision
- Be a trusted advisor to a wide range of stakeholders who can support the development of solutions that enable Te Puni Kōkiri to safely access and contribute to our own and the government's data landscape
- Lead and model a strong collaborative work approach and culture.
