**A little bit about the role**:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will primarily provide Accounts Payable support to the two entities.

This role is approx. 32 hours per week over 4 days for approximately 6 months.
- Code vendor invoices in Xero (reviewing default accounts), add descriptions, ensure approvals are received and attach In Xero approvals for every transaction
- Import and verify 3rd party Charger Owner Buyer Created Tax Invoices
- Code credit card payments, obtaining receipts and monthly statement approvals
- Prepare weekly and monthly payment run batches
- Prepare accruals for Vendor invoices
- Ad hoc duties include, ordering and collection of supplies, maintenance of the office and kitchen, arranging board meeting lunches and staff events, clearing the Post Office box and distributing mail.

**So, who are we looking for?**
- 2-3 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Officer
- Familiarity with accounting software, preferably Xero
- Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Basic Excel skills (updating spreadsheets)
- Organisational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors.
- Albany location
- 30-32 hours per week
- 6 month contract
