**About the role**

Reporting to the Design Team Lead, the Mechanical Engineer will lead the development of individual engineering products involving guiding the engineering product process, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards. Additionally, you will support the delivery of higher-priority Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to meet schedule and quality requirements set by the Lead and, ultimately, the customer. Your responsibilities also include reviewing technical documentation to ensure alignment with technical, project, and quality standards. The position may involve conducting technical investigations that could evolve into full-fledged engineering products.

**Key responsibilities will include**:
Leading and Delivering Engineering investigations and products up to complexity 2 with mínimal oversight, ensuring that engineering solutions are are practical, robust, operable, supportable and fully compliant.

Produce detailed design/production drawings and high-quality engineering reports.

Take ownership of assigned tasks, communicating any risks of late delivery to the team lead in a timely manner.

Provide support to other Engineers, especially junior engineers whilst proactively seeking training opportunities with senior staff members and maintain strong working relationships within the Engineering Services team.
