**About the role?**

The Building Support Team are looking for a Building Support Officer who is proactive, motivated and task driven to join their busy team. This role is a 12-month fixed term position covering a maternity leave. You will come from a technical administration background with knowledge of invoicing and excel, as well as having strong customer service skills. As a Building Support Officer, your key responsibilities include:

- Provide administration services for consenting processes to the Building Consenting Unit
- Reviewing of consent documentation for completeness advising of any omissions
- Managing customer expectations in line with Council policies

**About you?**

The building support officer role is an excellent role for someone to showcase their administration and customer service skills. Ideally you will have:

- Five or more years of experience in a similar technical administration role
- Invoicing and excel experience
- Computer literacy - quick to pick up new systems and processes
- A strong eye for detail
- A process driven attitude

In return you will be part of a fun and diverse team who are passionate about the work that they do. You will be provided with full and ongoing training from longstanding team members. We offer good flexibility in how you structure your hours and up to two working from home days a week.
