**Are you an experienced Driver (Class 2 licence) with excellent customer service skills looking for a role with a difference?**

**We currently have this unique opportunity for you**

Working as part of our blood collections team, you are responsible for the safe transportation of staff and blood products to and from collection venues within the greater Waikato region. You will also play an integral part of the busy mobile team by assisting with registration of donors and other administration tasks related to the donation process.

You will be working for a life-saving organisation, the New Zealand Blood and Organ Service (NZBS). It operates in a unique sector of the healthcare environment and holds responsibility for the collection, management and safety of New Zealand's blood supply.

Our blood collection drives take place in schools, universities, businesses and community venues. Shift length also varies with a minimum of 8 hour days.

Salary starting at $51,420 to $57,882 depending on skills, registration, and experience.

**About you**

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have a Class 2 Drivers Licence, the ability to reverse and manoeuvre a trailer. You will need experience dealing with customers on the front-line, being physically fit to load and unload mobile blood collection equipment. Basic technological and computer skills and experience are also essential. P endorsement is an advantage.

Your flexibility to work varying hours and staying out of town up to 4 nights a week is also a requirement.
