Contracted by Visa’s marketing partner The Works, this role reports to the Director, Visa Marketing NZSP and is a key member of the Visa marketing team; a passionate group with a high-performance culture responsible for our brand health and delivering best in class consumer, client and merchant marketing and B2B marketing to drive business growth across Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific (AuNZSP).

The Senior Manager, Client Marketing role is responsible for managing the execution of our client marketing activities in New Zealand and South Pacific. This role is responsible for the planning, design, implementation and optimisation of customer campaigns, to drive acquisition, retention and engagement programs for our client’s Retail and Business bank customer’s Everyday Banking Accounts, transaction accounts and credit card portfolios. The remit includes full funnel marketing campaign execution from product awareness, consideration, new-to-bank (NTB) acquisition through to onboarding, retention, portfolio and engagement initiatives.

**What a Senior Manager, Client Marketing does at Visa**:

- Contributes to the planning of an annual marketing calendar for each of our clients
- Develops communications strategies and integrated marketing campaign plans for our client marketing projects
- Contributes to the development of marketing services proposals and the presentation of these to clients
- Project management of marketing programs to ensure we exceed client expectations with our marketing execution
- Manages the creative and content development and implementation of client marketing campaigns and projects
- Work with our agency partners to develop and execute high quality on brand communications and campaigns that are on time and on budget
- Partners with our Marketing team members on merchant marketing, creative, media and sponsorships
- Manages the project financial processes and budget
- Monitors results and delivers optimization recommendations to increase the effectiveness of campaigns
- Contributes to the post implementation report for each client project reporting on performance, learnings and actions
- Work with our agency partners to develop and execute high quality communications/ campaigns that are on time and on budget
- Partners with the Director, Marketing BPO for the pipeline management, operating expenses and revenue associated with client marketing projects.

**Qualifications**:
**What you will need**:

- Passionate about marketing.
- Formal qualifications in marketing mandatory with proven experience in managing great campaigns
- 5+ years marketing experience within a marketing team or agency
- Exposure to banking and financial services marketing would be ideal
- Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Client focused mindset
- Strong partnership skills to be effective in managing and guiding agencies across creative, media, digital, social, and below the line activities
- Strong attention to detail and deadline driven
- Strong project/program management skills to successfully manage multiple, concurrent initiatives
- Commercially minded - good with financials, managing budgets and forecasting
