Facilities & Administrative Assistant

Te tūnga | The role We have a full-time permanent opportunity for a Facilities & Administrative Assistant to provide front of house support and project administrative support to our General Manager - Environment and our wider Environment Group, based at our Christchurch Service Centre. In this role, you will be involved in a broad range of tasks which may include:
- Managing inwards and outwards couriers, mail, and samples.
- Providing phone reception for external calls
- Support visitor management, ensuring common areas are kept fresh and clean to enhance the visitor experience.
- Providing general administrative tasks for our Facilities team, our General Manager - Environment and our wider Environment Group.
- Organising room bookings, minute taking and travel coordination for the Environment Group.
Kia angitu koe | About you To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience delivering effective administrative support.
- Excellent self-organisation skills, with the ability to meet deadlines across multiple priorities.
- Strong customer service orientation, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive manner and demonstrable initiative in the workplace.
- Proficiency with Microsoft packages especially Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to learn and use other software products as required.
- Honesty, integrity, and the ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
