**About The Company**:
Our client is a well-established privately owned specialist air conditioning and ventilation company. Their team (circa 20 staff) is highly motivated and passionate about what they do. They cover all the bases - design, installation, service and maintenance. Their focus is predominantly industrial/commercial with some high-end residential in the mix. Projects will range in size from $50k to $1m.

**About the Opportunity**:
Our client is seeking an** experienced Estimator** to join their company in **Auckland, NZ**.

Some of your core responsibilities will include:

- Project pricing estimation/quotation
- Tender submissions

In addition to the core responsibilities, the role will have a sales and business development focus that will be expected to grow over time. You need to be able to generate your own work.

Depending on your background and experience there is also an opportunity to expand the role to take on project management and/or design responsibilities. They are open to moulding the role around the individual.

- 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- The ability to work well under pressure and go the extra mile to meet deadlines
- Great people skills with a willingness to build long-term relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Real attention to detail and process driven
- Great commercial awareness
- A positive can-do attitude
