**Due to continued business growth, we are requiring an Operations Clerk based at our facilities at Auckland airport.**

**Your New Role**

The Dispatch Office is responsible for receiving first-hand information, prioritizing and forwarding this information to affected Gate Gourmet department for action.

The Operations Clerk is the centre point for all communications coming into and going out from Gate Gourmet with reference to all tarmac, aircraft/customer day of operations messages and information.

The Operations Clerk works within an ever changing and dynamic environment involving aircraft flight schedules. This position is ideal for someone who is able to think on their feet and always getting the best possible result for our customers ensuring efficiency of activities with our teams.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Interface with our customers’, (airlines) schedules and airport information in real time, optimizing the allocation of workloads to the drivers / loaders in accordance with these requirements, safely meeting on time performance
- Monitor airside activities to ensure compliance to the customers’ flight schedules, local airport rules and national guidelines.
- Maintain and update the flight schedule/movements.
- Control and record the movement of the landside vehicles.
- Communicate any irregular operations and equipment changes.
- Comply with regulations (Security / Country / Safety / Company Rules and Procedures).
- Highlight to the management team issues relating to customer schedule adherence, airside health and safety incidents and / or resource allocations.

**We are interested in speaking with individuals who possess**:

- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment where strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
- From 2+ years general work experience in an office or warehouse facility or similar position.
- From 1+ year experience directing the work of others.
- No criminal background.
- Good communication skills (written & verbal).
- Availability to work a 7-day roster across morning and afternoon shifts.

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:
