**Your New Role**

Working as part of a team in our Dispatch Office, the Operations Clerks act as the direct contact person for customers and communicate with the unit for all service/material/product irregularities. He/she creates schedules to manage the service delivery of catering by drivers and loaders and performance manage teams to ensure maximum efficiency.

**Note. This is a 12 month maternity leave position**

**Your Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- The direct customer contact person stationed within the airport and/or customer operations.
- Communicate (promulgate) any irregularities, up counts, additional items etc. to unit.
- Communicate any irregular operations and equipment changes.
- Communicate as required to on field customer (ops/tower).
- Compliance with the regulations (Security / Country / Safety / Company Rules and Procedures).
- Interface with the customers’ schedules and airport information in real time, optimizing the allocation of workloads to the drivers / loaders in accordance with these requirements, safely meeting on time performance.
- Highlight to the management team issues relating to customer schedule adherence, airside health and safety incidents and / or resource allocations.
- Monitor airside activities to ensure compliance to the customers’ flight schedules, local airport rules and national guidelines.
- Maintain and update the flight schedule / movements.
- Control and record the movement of the landside vehicles.

**We are interested in speaking with individuals who possess**:

- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment where strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
- Experience in the airline industry in a similar role would be highly regarded, OR
- From 2+ years general work experience in an office or warehouse facility.
- From 1+ year experience directing the work of others.
- No criminal background.
- Good communication skills (written & verbal).
- Availability to work a 7-day roster across morning and afternoon shifts.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
