Due to an internal promotion we are looking for an outstanding National Manager to lead our Corrections & Justice integrated facilities management portfolio. This is a senior leadership role responsible for the delivery of planned and reactive facilities management, asset management, and minor capital projects for the Department of Corrections prisons and community corrections services sites and Ministry of Justice courts. The principal purpose of this role is to guide, encourage and motivate a strong operational team to deliver agreed business and customer outcomes.
**Overall, the role will**:
Provide visible leadership, guidance and harmonisation of the team to inspire and develop a high performing, collaborative operation.
Nurture and develop a Zero Harm culture.
Engage with and influence customers in a manner that achieves the right outcomes. Maintaining a detailed understanding of all aspects of the agreements and contracts and ensure contracts are managed against KPIs and optimises utilisation and productivity of resources.
Assist in leading governance, deliverables, and service levels across all work types, customers and technologies.
Optimise overall workforce productivity, fit-for-purpose technical capability and competence of staff and optimizing internal and external resourcing mix.
Be responsible for the commercial success of all contract management activities in line with Downer expectations and financial thresholds.
Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
You will have experience in a complex contracted services environment with 7-12 years at a senior level in a similar size business or business unit (+$50m revenue, approx. 200-300 staff, external sub-contractor network, multisite locations).

Proven experience in delivering complex asset management, facilities management and operational services, preferably from a facilities or similar environment.
Experience in leading significant positive change in a service environment in particular a proven record in driving safety and operation performance improvement.
