**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, implement and maintain network security systems including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security devices.
- Conduct security assessments and develop remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities.
- Demonstrate leadership in the support process and ownership of service delivery
- Develop, implement and maintain security policies and procedures to protect against data loss and ensure data privacy.
- Check Point Firewall, Fortinet, F5 and Cisco routing and switching technologies
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends and proactively take measures to mitigate potential risks.
- Work closely with other IT teams to provide guidance on security best practices for cloud-based environments.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Security Engineer with a focus on Firewall Automation and Cloud Security.
- Develop and support procedures, processes, code to increase the efficiency, capacity and capability of the security functions.
- Familiarity with Cloud security concepts, AWS & Azure security tools and/or concepts around containerisation.
- Operating and maintaining load balancers, proxies and other networking infrastructure in a security environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Experience with Cisco and other switching technologies.
