We're currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Coastal Engineer/Scientist. **Kei te whakapono mātou ki tō whanaketanga | We want to develop you**

Join us and you will:

- Assist in the design and delivery of coastal engineering and scientific projects, including coastal hazard assessments, adaptation and hazard mitigation and coastal infrastructure design.
- Be part of the full design and construction process - see designs become a reality.
- Conduct field investigations, collect and analyse data, and prepare technical reports.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals to develop innovative solutions to coastal challenges.
- Support senior staff in project management and client liaison.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and contribute to the continuous improvement of our coastal engineering practices.

**Nā tōu rourou | What you'll bring**
- Master's degree in Coastal Engineering or Coastal Science.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of coastal processes, coastal engineering principles, and related environmental regulations.
- Proficient in the use of relevant software tools and models.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Consulting experience in a relevant field would be advantageous, but not essential.
