**Nā tōu rourou | What you'll bring**
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Coastal engineering with Masters preferred.
- 7-12 years of professional experience in coastal engineering, with a focus on design and project delivery.
- Strong technical expertise in coastal engineering principles, coastal processes, and relevant industry standards.
- Proven experience in design of coastal engineering projects such as coastal structures, port and harbour structures, beach replenishments and coastal hazard mitigation measures.
- Proficiency in relevant design software and tools, ensuring accurate and efficient project execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities, including the ability to manage resources, budgets, and timelines effectively.
