An exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspiring
**Quality Technician** to join a family owned business that are seriously on a big mission Our client is building the next winning chapter of their business, where they are required to fulfil large orders of their specialised meat products. Reporting to the Quality and Compliance Manager, this full time role is critical in delivering all aspects of Quality and Food Safety. Working 7.00am to 3.30pm, you will see yourself maintaining strong relationship with manufacturing teams to ensure production processes and products meet the highest quality specifications. You will not only champion Food Safety, Quality and GMP in the plant, you will also be exposed to assisting in minimising waste and improving productivity.

**What will you be doing?**
- Monitor quality of incoming and outgoing ingredients and product
- Monitor and record compliance to procedures and specifications
- Provide on-going training on Quality, Food Safety and GMP
- Work closely with production teams to build a positive FSQ culture
- Updating SOPs where required
- Oversee documentation is accurate and ensure appropriate filing

**What skills and experience do you bring?**
- You will have a tertiary qualification in Science or related
- Minimum 1 year food manufacturing experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Control or similar role in a food, pharmaceutical, infant formula or similar industry. **Meat industry experience is highly regarded**:

- Ability to be proactive, flexible, multitask and manage your time effectively
- Passionate about quality, documentation, standards and integrity
