Auckland City, New Zealand PPG Industries Full time

As a Quality Control Technician at PPG you will be responsible for managing the Quality Control function in our manufacturing plant in Auckland. You will assist the QA Coordinator to manage accreditation of product lines and ensure the Integrated Management Systems are implemented and adhered to within the manufacturing facility.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Follow PPG's EH&S regulations by adhering to guidelines & procedures for safe work practices - your safety is our number one priority
- Ensure the quality of all materials within the production areas by conducting inspections, batch testings, equipment calibration and product analysis
- Investigate and resolve quality and production issues
- Active involvement in internal & external audits
- Accurate reporting and data control
- Assist in the management and maintenance of external accreditations to meet ISO, APAS and AS standards

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in Quality Control within a manufacturing environment is highly desired however training will be provided
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Competent in the use of MS Office Software
- A tertiary qualification within a Science related field is beneficial but not necessary
- Strong influencing skills and comfortable to liaise with internal colleagues on all levels
