The Liquidity Modelling Analyst is critical to making this happen and key responsibilities of the role will include the following:
Ensure liquidity metrics measures are accurately and timely with material changes investigated and explained

Efficiently generate and distribute Liquidity reports to Treasury, Risk, NZ Markets, senior executives and other key stakeholders

Demonstrate sound knowledge of bank and regulatory requirements (including modelling assumptions) in relation to liquidity

Proactively identify changes in liquidity position and effectively communicate these to line manager

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Understanding of balance sheet and financial instruments

A financial or accounting background would be beneficial, along with an interest in working with financials and numbers

A growth mindset, proactivity and strong willingness to learn

Ability to confidently navigate spreadsheets and use excel

Effective collaboration and stakeholder management skills

Thoroughness and attention to detail
