**The Opportunity**

This is a dynamic leadership position, providing excellent opportunity to lead a small team. The role has the responsibility to deliver an infection, prevention & control programme that meets the Ngā Paerewa Health and Disability services standard (NZS 8134:2021). As the role is both strategic and operational, advanced practice knowledge and skill is essential with a focus on understanding surveillance, microbiology, the healthcare environment, and service delivery with consumers at the forefront of every decision.

The Nurse Manager works collaboratively across the interdisciplinary, organisational team, to positively influence consumer outcomes and use data for change. It requires demonstrated expert communication and change management skills to champion high level quality improvement within the specialty.
