Position Description | Clinical Dietitian

Te Whatu Ora Tairāwhiti has a vacancy for an enthusiastic experienced Dietitian to join our small friendly team. The position is part time (24hr a week), fixed term for six months and is based at Gisborne Hospital. The successful applicant will work in a range of inpatient, community and outpatient settings. This role is well suited to a senior dietitian with a range of clinical experience.

- open minded with a desire to extend your skills in a variety of clinical areas
- a passion for dietetics and a positive can-do attitude
- able to use initiative and show flexibility in a variety of settings
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work with a wide variety of people
- experience in working with people of different ethnicities
- evidence of excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload
- resourceful and able to think outside the square
- a current drivers licence
- able to speak Te Reo Maori (would be an advantage)
