**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our supply chain team on a fixed term basis at Hauora Tairawhiti Hospital as a Storeperson. Bring your supply chain experience to an established team delivering materials needed to maintain efficient and effective services within the hospital environment.
- Process and deliver requisitions
- Support specific wards with scanning and resupply of stock
- Customer service from the warehouse
- Processes and stocking inwards goods
- Performing stock takes and some administration tasks
- Participating in quality improvement.
- Championing cultural safety

**This is a 6 month fixed term role.**

- Current, clean and full drivers licence
- Forklift operator’s licence
- Physically fit as the position requires some lifting
- Proven data entry experience - Windows based system
- Accurate data entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Effective team member
- Self-motivated & can do initiative
- Sense of humour
- Good common sense
