We are looking for a full time permanent high-performing **Sales Manager Conference & Business Groups** to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales and revenue potential across your market segment, focusing on relationship building and generating future business from existing and new clients. Ability to travel domestically and short-haul travel from time to time.

**Requirements**:
**Preferred Qualifications & Experiences**
- Minimum of 5 years of previous sales experience, including a hotel sales role (ideally conference sales)
- Sound knowledge of standard sales practices
- Previous Sales experience servicing the Govt, Corporate, and Mice segments desirable
- Clean full drivers licence preferred (please note a car is not offered with this role)

**Person Specification**
- Public speaking and strong presentation skills essential
- Strong ability to build relationships & negotiate sales
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Well organised with the ability to adjust work based on priorities
- Ability to travel, work independently and unsupervised
- Willingness to assist in coaching and building sales awareness amongst hotel teams
