**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
The HCA Earn and Learn programme lead, will lead a team to deliver sustainable results through accountabilities and report to the Nurse Director Patient Management Services with the key functions of:

- Lead the programme components to ensure smooth service delivery,
- Recruitment is a key accountability
- Developing continuous improvement to systems and processes within the programme
- Provide supervision to the HCA trainers
- Ensure systems are in place to monitor students’ performance and taking appropriate steps to address instances where performance improvement or management is required
- Is available to assist staff with queries or problems, as necessary.
- As a member of the Patient Management Services wider leadership team this role contributes to the development and delivery of the Patient Management Services’ objectives and the broader provider services plan.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
- Experience in managing a team
- Excellent communicator - verbal and written
- Substantial change management experience, preferably within complex organisations along with Strategic and operational planning experience
- Post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline
- A project management qualification with an extensive experience in all aspects of programme and project work - planning, business
case development, design, change management, risk management, benefit realisation,
communication, reporting and evaluation
- Lean/Six Sigma (Black Belt level) or green belt with significant lean experience (7+ years)
- Experience in Process & System Improvement and Design and significant service improvement experience
- Demonstrable track record of delivering effective healthcare services as a manager in a multi-faceted healthcare environment.
