Being the Graduate Product Development Engineer that you are, you will join our technically savvy team to enable our customers to create outstanding products by dedicating ourselves to the development and support of the Oclea range of System On Module (SoMs) and ultimately, reimagining and enhancing the way we interact with our homes and businesses. **JOB DUTIES**:

- Design and develop high quality products which are commercially successful
- Assist in facilitating good communication and building a highly technically competent and high-performance team
- Continually update Jira with the status of tasks
- Participate in workflow and other meetings
- Encourage strong team environment by being approachable, receptive, sharing information and offering support and knowledge
- Spend regular time in online research, reading and participating in forums and webinars to maintain excellent technical skills
- Undertake any special projects &/or ad hoc assignments as required to ensure the strategic expectations of the company are met
- Uphold and enhance the Teknique brand and reputation

**YOU MUST HAVE**:

- 1+ years of academic or professional experience programming (preferable C/C++ or OO language)
- 1+ years of academic or professional experience in Linux operating system environments
- 1+ years of academic or professional experience working in a collaborative engineering team

- Passion for programming and experimentation with the Linux operating system
- Programming background with competent in C/C++/OO development
- Scripting knowledge and experience (Bash, Python, etc.)

- Hunger to learn about everything product, from concepting to manufacturing
- Verbal and written communication skills and team relationship-building focus
- Excellent problem solving with a natural interest in technology and a strong attention to detail
