**Permanent Policy Manager role available within a forward-thinking equity driven team looking at systemic access and outcomes for the Pasifika community.**

**About the organisation**:
Join an organisation striving to improve access and outcomes for Pasifika communities for the get-go. With a strong action plan of equity, this role will review access and outcomes from a community/ regional level right up to national and lead the development of strong policies that meet the needs the communities it supports.

**About the role**:

- Lead a talented, collegial team in developing positive and proactive policy advice
- Review and improve strategic policy direction across the workstream
- Create prioritisation frameworks on policy projects
- Stakeholder outreach, build considerate and on-going relationships
- Lead multiple complex and sensitive cross-Ministry policy projects

**What you’ll need**
- Experienced in leading complex, multifaceted policy projects and presenting advice to ministers
- Excellent people management skills, focused on a supportive culture with professional mentorship
- Positive engagement and relationship building skills
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to focus on outcomes and shift between big picture and small picture thinking
- Strong understanding, experience of and commitment to Te Tiriti Principles
